Salary is not fixed
Jay Shah does not get a salary from the BCCI, but he gets reasonable expenses for attending board meetings and ICC meetings held abroad. The same provision is there in the ICC as well. Officials like chairman, vice-chairman do not get a fixed salary. They get allowances and facilities based on various meetings and functions. However, the ICC has not yet disclosed how much money it gives to its officials in the form of allowances or other facilities.
Who is the chairman at present?
Currently, Greg Barclay is serving as the ICC chairman and will be replaced by Jay Shah. Barclay was the chairman for 4 consecutive years (2 terms) but he refused the third term.
